I found out that I was pregnant with Sean Jr. on Memorial Day 2017.
We had friends coming over for wine and a pool day. That morning my tummy appeared puffier than usual, I was feeling a little off, so I decided to take the leftover pregnancy test that I had used when I found out I was pregnant with Kensington.
I was upstairs alone with Kensington in my room. Friends had just arrived.
And TADA!
Within seconds again it showed, “Pregnant!”
AGAIN!
I walked downstairs in complete shock, with my 7 month old baby girl in my arms. I gave the test to Sean Sr. in front of everyone. He jumped so high in the air and yelled, “Yes! Yes! Yes!”
He wanted another baby so badly and was totally overjoyed. I remember thinking at that moment, “How am I going to have two babies under two years old!?” I have to admit I was quite anxious.
Our friends were so excited for us and celebrated the rest of the day. I, of course, popped open the sparkling water while everyone enjoyed their wine. It was a great day! Totally unforgettable!
A few weeks later, we took the blood test at the doctor’s office to find out the gender of the baby. Both pregnancies were completely different for me from day one. I was totally sick with Kensington and didn’t have a day of sickness with Sean Jr.
Surrounding the gender of our future baby, we didn’t mind what we were having. We just wanted another smooth and healthy pregnancy. I got the follow-up call from the nurse, and she asked if I wanted to know if our baby was a boy or a girl. I said yes, and she exclaimed, “You’re having a BOY!”
I screamed so loud with excitement that I think I blew out her eardrum. Poor thing. I didn’t realize how much I wanted a boy until that moment! I was so excited to get to experience both a baby girl and baby boy. I felt so blessed. I surprised Sean later that day with a room full of blue balloons. It was so fun and such a happy day.
My pregnancy was so amazing, just like it was with Kensington. Watching my belly grow and feeling life growing inside of my being.
Sean Jr. seemed a bit impatient to enter the world. I had to be put on bedrest at 32 weeks because he seemed to want to come a little early. But we made it to 38.5 weeks again!
Thankfully, we had another great labor. Sean Sr. and my mom were my birthing partners again, and I delivered him on January 18th, 2018 at 5:06pm.
It only took me 9 hours of labor this time.
Dr. Karmardian was a rockstar. It was the easiest delivery. Sean cut the cord again, and my baby boy was immediately put in my arms. The joy and happiness seeing our precious little baby will forever be one of the best feelings I’ve ever experienced. I immediately fell in love once again. Sean and I felt so complete.
Both my babies were born on the exact same day in my pregnancy and weighed the same amount. Sean Jr. was just a little bit longer than Kensington height wise.
And then came our loving community to celebrate…
I don’t think the nurses were out of the room when my dad, step dad, brother, mother in law, and father in law all came to see Sean Jr. The room was so full of love and excitement. I even got to enjoy a few sips of champagne! It’s a day I’ll never forget.
You amaze me , inspired me , I admire you so much

I love your story and you have beautiful family and adorable babies ❤️
Dear Casey:
I just read both Kensington and Sean's birth stories and they are so lovely and magical. I can totally feel the love and devotion you have for your babies and your husband. Such a beautiful family. Wishing you many blessings and happiness ????
What did you eat throughout both pregnancies?
You seemed to stay thin with just a baby bump.
