DIY Calming Chamomile and Oatmeal Body Rub

Sometimes it's so important to treat our minds, bodies, and souls to a bit of calm. One of my favorite things is to use nutrient rich oils and essential oils as a treat.

Thankfully, I was introduced to this luxurious DIY Calming Chamomile and Oatmeal Body Paste. I dare you to try it, and then let me know what you think!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 chamomile tea bags
  • ½  cup of jojoba oil
  • ½ cup of grapeseed oil
  • 1 cup of old-fashioned oats

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Blend the oats into very small pieces (I find that using a food processor is best). 
  2. Pour the oats in a bowl and add the jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, and the contents of the tea bags (tear tea bags open and pour the leaves into the mixture).
  3. Stir until the mixture is well combined. 

I love to apply this paste while in a hot shower and rub it into my skin like a scrub. I then let it sit on my skin so that it soaks up the moisture and all of the incredibly calming and soothing ingredients.

Rinse off, towel try, and apply your favorite body oil or lotion.
