I'm fascinated by all of the new and amazing technologies that skin therapists are innovating. They reveal that there's so much we can do to keep our skin invigorated, healthy, and glowing.

I was lucky enough to experience the power of Procell Microchanneling with my friend and facialist Paige Taylor. I have to say I'm extremely impressed at its ability to improve wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and boost collagen and elastin production with literally no downtime.

Here's how it works!

#1 - Deep Skin Cleansing

First, the skin is deeply cleansed — making sure that any and all makeup or lotions are removed.

#2 - Outermost Skin Is Treated

Secondly, a machine is used to create tiny holes on the outermost layer of the skin. It hurts a bit, but it's not overwhelmingly uncomfortable.

These tiny holes are used as channels for infusing deeply nourishing serums into the skin. They allow collagen to rush to the surface and mix with a cocktail serum infused with growth factors, peptides, stem cells, and hyaluronic acids, which immediately lifts and tightens the face, neck, and chest.

#3 - LED Light Therapy Is Used

Once the serum is infused into the skin, LED light is administered over the the face, neck, and chest area to calm the skin and kill any bacterial, while rejuvenating it.

#4 - Hyaluronic Mask Drives Nutrients the Into Skin

A deeply nutritious hyaluronic mask is used after the LED light treatment to speed up healing, reduce redness and fine lines, and infuse the skin with tons of moisture. When the skin is protected with hyaluronic acid, skin cell production increased to create plumper skin!

#5 - Deep Moisturizing Cream Seals the Skin

Finally, the treatment ends with deep moisturizing creams to seal in the nutrient infusion and pamper the skin with additional moisture.

I found the treatment to be quite amazing! My skin was red for the rest of the day and into the next morning, but in just a few days I noticed a huge difference in my skin.

The full treatment took about an hour and can be done every 3-6 months.

Aftercare

Paige instructed that I not put on any makeup, wait to wash my face for about 6 hours, and only use moisture infusing serums, balms, and lotions for two days. Also, avoid exfoliating for seven days and heat, and of course, wear sunscreen when going outside.

If you'd like to get in touch with Paige, she is located in Newport Coast, California. You can book an appointment with her by calling (714) 865-3616.

Enjoy your glow!

(Note: In the face of current Coronavirus restrictions, there may be a delay in obtaining an appointment. I strongly recommend that you get on her books for when things ease up!)
