My girlfriend Alexandra shared a DIY treatment for split ends that has me completely impressed. I gave it a try last evening and my hair felt so silky and soft.

I color my hair every four weeks and am constantly styling it with hot tools. Plus, living in Southern California can be quite drying. My hopes were that Alexandra’s treatment would make it softer, smoother, and healthier in general.

I gave it a try the other night and was surprised that it made an immediate difference! It made such an impression on me that I'm thrilled to share it with you. Give it a try, and let me know what you think!

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Start by adding together the sweet almond oil, vegetable glycerin, and argan oil to a bowl, then break open the capsule of pantothenic acid and mix everything together.
  2. Once all ingredients are blended together, immediately place them in the double boiler on the water pot. This is important to do so the temperature doesn't get too high. Please make sure the oil is warm and not hot when applying it to your hair.
  3. Pour the mixture into a squeeze bottle. Next, squeeze the mixture on the ends of your hair working your way up to the root.
  4. Let it sit 40-60 min.
  5. Rinse thoroughly.
  6. Enjoy your beautiful hair!
