It's all in the eyes! I have to admit I'm a bit obsessed with the beauty of the human eye. And when I do my makeup, I spend a lot of time accentuating my eyes. I love to be creative and that I can choose from endless color combinations.

Lately, I’ve been wearing colors that I haven't experimented with before, and I get so many compliments on how extra green they look. It’s been such a fun experience that I thought it would be fun to share with you the best eyes shades for your specific eye color!

Green Eyes

For those of us with green eyes, eye shadow colors like corals, pinks, golds, taupes, cocoa browns, purples, berries, and bronze do wonders to make them pop.

Green’s complementary color is red, so shadows with red and purple undertones accentuate the green shade in your eye, making them stand out.

I am loving the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eye Shadow Palette. It's amazing for green eyes because it has fourteen shades mixed with shimmers, mattes, and metallics. This palette offers berries, browns, and bronze shades. The red undertones in the violet purple and rose highlight your eyes, while the rich undertones of the browns and bronze bring out the green tone.

Brown and Hazel Eyes

Eye shadows like deep purple. chocolate, espresso, electric blue, gray, maroon, gold, bright green, and navy bring out the most beautiful shades in brown and hazel eyes.  Earthy tones and neutrals enrich the color.

To bring out the green in hazel eyes, use emerald and gold shades. The Urban Decay Naked Ultraviolet Eye Shadow Palette is amazing because it has all the right colors to complement the brown and hazel eye color. It has 12 shades that include purples and neutrals that are shimmery, matte, and glittery.

Blue Eyes

There are many shades of blue eyes - deep blue, baby blue, bright turquoise blue, brown blue, and many more. If you have dark blue eyes, neutrals like beige and taupe will make your eyes pop. If they are brighter blue, shades of copper bronze, gold, and silver will bring out the brightest blue possible. Teal and turquoise complement the blue eye incredibly well by matching the tint and hue of the eye color.

Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde Eye Shadow Palette has 18 shades of cool, warm, and bright tones, a perfect mix to bring out the intense blue in your eyes.
